Sam and Anna are RJ's bravest friends. Their lives are defined by integrity and buoyed by courage. They believe in a woman's right to choose, as long as babies aren't vacuumed in the process. They believe that gay people are equals, deserving both love and justice. They recycle, eat raw food, and have the smallest carbon footprints in NYC. They are the Republicans the Republican Party never talks about, because if they did, their party would cease to have meaning, in the same way that a glass with a single crack becomes meaningless.
